Adjacent to the 2nd floor lab space are two chemical hood rooms, which are shared among researchers and include 4+ hoods in each room, preparation space, and balances.

The CEE department also maintains BSL-2 research spaces, including two rooms dedicated to sample preparation and carrying out experiments.
