It was an exciting and productive year in the Gilbertson Group!

Many thanks to PPG for sponsoring research in our lab! Nathalia Aquino de Carvalho was awarded a 1-year Graduate Research Fellowship and Lisa Stabryla received a conference travel grant. Congrats ladies!

Postdoc, Leila Pourzahedi, leads a collaborative publication in Environmental Science: Nano entitled "Life Cycle Considerations of Nano-Enabled Agrochemicals: Are Today's Tools up to the Task?". This paper is featured on the cover of the May 1, 2018 issue.

PhD student Josh Urso publishes his first paper in Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering on a new sustainability metric - atom conversion efficiency - applied to agriculture fertilization. The paper was featured on the cover of the April 2, 2018 issue.

Congrats to Nathaniel for receiving an Undergraduate Research Award from the Mindlin Foundation!

A new publication from our collaborative research with the Millstone group is now in Environmental Science: Nano. Congrats Katie and Lisa!

New publication from our group in ES: Nano - "Opportunities to Advance Sustainable Design of Nano-Enabled Agriculture Identified Through a Literature Review". Congrats to Yan and Joy!

Congrats to Yan who was chosen as runner up in the Carbon Nanomaterials Graduate Student Award competition at the 2017 AIChE meeting!
